Jacob Blesses Pharaoh

At long last Jacob is united with his son Joseph and they embrace, weeping. Joseph prepares his father and brothers to meet Pharaoh, and he has a particular goal in mind. What takes place before Pharaoh has repercussions which stretch far beyond Pharaoh – both in time and in significance. God continues to build his people into a great nation, as the fulfillment of his covenant promises pointed clearly toward the work of Jesus Christ.
