Foundations of Faith

The goal of our lives is to be approved by God through a life that testifies to and reflects the genuineness of the hope we possess. The result of this great Chapter is that we see the relevance of the men and women of old (and thus the OT Scriptures) for today. The great mistake of modern man is the thought that we have exceeded the ancients. But the author of Hebrews is developing his great “cloud” of witnesses.
