Enduring Until the End Part 3

Earlier in the context of this entire section the author was focused on previous faith for present endurance (10.32-34), he then turned to faith in future reward for ongoing endurance (10.35-36), and here at last his focus is on the future so that the believer would not shrink back in unbelief (10.37-39). The result is a delicate balance of promise of reward and threats of judgment. The key to enjoy hope and assurance of the New Covenant is endurance and faith. What follows is what can be called endurance and the Gospel according to Hebrews. There are four aspects of the gospel that we can deduce from the text here. Each of these are helpful to know how we are going to successfully, that is in a way pleasing to God, endure to the end.
