What is marriage? This is a necessary question to understand in light of the current view of divorce and remarriage. The Pharisees ask Jesus what are justifiable reasons for divorce and instead of debating with them on this issue, Jesus takes them back to the creation of marriage and the purpose of marriage. In the culture we live in of easy divorce and remarriage, it is vital we hear the words of Jesus on this issue!
