Walking in Newness of Life
Series Romans
As a result of the great truths about God’s grace. Paul’s argument is that man is saved by grace apart from works. This is where many like to give an excuse that since I am saved by grace then I can live any way that I would like (License). Paul had come from a form of legalism in the Pharisaical tradition where they followed a list of rules, added to the OT laws in order to be more restricting, and strived for their righteousness through their personal efforts. Paul has already addressed that all have sinned and come short of the glory of God. In Romans 6, Paul addresses the proper response of a person who has been saved by grace.
