When Our Loyalty to Christ is being Challenged

The church at Thyatira was very active in the ministry as the text highlights its labor, charity, patience, and growth. However the church's loyalty was being challenged by a woman prophetess named Jezebel. Here there is an emphasis on the importance of maintaining faithfulness to Christ, even when faced with compromise. Yet for those who hold fast, overcome, and keep the works of Christ are promised the reward of ruling with Christ and receiving the Morning Star.
