Seeking Peace from God

Paul, Silas, and Timothy now turn to the third issue that concerns them regarding the congregation of believers in Thessalonica. This matter will disrupt the peace of the church as surely as persecution or error on the second coming of Christ. In these verses they lay the groundwork to address the matter in the rest of the passage. Here they direct the attention of these church members to God as their sure help in the midst of every issue. This sermon calls us to follow their example.
