Josiah The Godly Young King

Josiah lived around 600 years before Christ.

Josiah became King of Judah when he was aged 8 YEARS OLD, he reigned as King of Judah until approximately 609 BC.

Josiah was living in ungodly days and the Youth of our nation are living in ungodly days as well.

The majority of people in our nation have no time for the Lord.

Kids in Australia are growing up unchurched and undisciplined. The World is their guide rather than the Word being their guide.

Josiah seeks the Lord at 16 and four years later he prepares to clean up his Kingdom of the idolatry it had fallen into.

Not only does he get rid of the idolatry in the land but he begins to restore the Temple at Jerusalem.

Josiah had a heart for God’s land, Josiah had a heart for God’s House, Josiah had a heart for God’s Word, Josiah had a heart for God’s People, Josiah had a heart for God’s Passover to be kept and Josiah had a heart for God’s Worship to be restored.

Our nation like never before needs to have those that have a heart like Josiah.
