MALACHI: The Lord's Messenger (Part 3)
Series Abiding in Christ
The Lord has not finished disputing with His argumentative people. Malachi records that God's people had made Him weary by twisting morality (Malachi 2:17). The Lord would send two more messengers: John the Baptist and the Messiah who would make things right (Malachi 3:1-5).
The changeless God would not be robbed (Malachi 3:6-12).
Slandering God's service will not stand (Malachi 3:13-4:6). God judges His people by the standard of His Word. Wise believers repent and return to God when His Messenger (and His Word!) convict of sin and error (3:16-18).
