The Right Way to Receive Christ

There is a right way and a wrong way to understand the phrase "receiving Christ." It would be incorrect to view this in a man-centered type of way that presents Christ as a potential gift and man possessing the natural power of accepting or rejecting. The right way to understand "receiving Christ" is that we receive Him as a gift the way the ground receive a seed. "Receiving Christ" is a sovereign work of God in a dead sinner's heart.
