God's New Humanity

Since the garden fall, God has been working out his redemptive purposes for humanity. We understand today that God's redemptive purposes center on the person and work of Jesus Christ, alone. He is the "Seed" of Abraham, the New Covenant; indeed, Jesus is Israel (Galatians 3:16). And those who are in Christ are also sons of Abraham. There is one people of God, a new humanity, a new creation in Christ Jesus.
