Being Mighty in the Scriptures : Speaking the Truth in Love in our Time of Divisions

Apollos comes to Ephesus as one who knows only the batpism of John, but he is presented as one who is mighty in the Scriptures, an eloquent man who is able to teach the ways of the Lord accurately and who preaches boldly.

It falls to Aquila & Priscilla to correct the doctrine of Apollos, teaching him more about God's ways. Pastor Stoos sees some important lessons here for the Church in America that has become very divided over many doctrinal issues.

There is also a strong encouragement for covenant children, and the rest of us, to learn to be mighty in the Scriptures!
