Series CWP - Acts
The sin of Ananias and Sapphira was making false pretenses and pretending piety they did not possess. The land and money was in their own power. The early church did not practice communism. We see the Simplicity of Truth, the Duplicity of Deceit, and the Felicity of Truth.
In this harsh judgment of these liars, God showed that the kingdom of God is founded upon truth and not upon pretense.
