The Mind of Christ

Paul gives further instruction about how to achieve the unity that God has ordained for His body. He says we are to adopt the mindset of Christ in all of our relating to one another. The tools for achieving true unity are having no reputation in our own eyes while bowing to God's truth and not being offended by what He has sovereignly ordained for us. Jesus, though His reputation was and is eternally glorious, made Himself nothing and thus showed us the way. We, on the other hand, truly are nothing and thus Paul exhorts us to live and relate in the full awareness of this fact.
