Being God's People

God has chosen a people and called them into covenant with himself. In Deuteronomy 14 part of the meaning of this fact is brought out and explained. We see the status of God's people, who they are and why. We see the separation of God's people, that they are in the world but not of it. And we see how this fact affects how God's people see their substance, their possessions as gifts from God, and how they employ these gifts.
