Text: Romans 12 vs 9-21

Sermon Title: Conduct in Love

1. Apostle Paul continued to teach on "Table Manners", that is, the gospel imperatives/commands/exhortations/instructions.

2. All the redeemed are called children by God and He has spoken to how He wants His children to behave.

3. And Apostle Paul is going to talk about the conduct of the believer, but first and foremost, it must be motivated by love.

4. And this love is from God, who is love and first loved us and works that love through the Holy Spirit.

5. All these exhortations have the goal of causing the redeemed to be sober for the sake of Christ.

6. The gospel of unconditional salvation (grace) is very revolutionary and if you hear it correctly you should conclude that there is no amount of sinning that can change it. And THAT IS TRUE.

7. However, God does not want us to go crazy. Hence, the imperatives. But imperatives do not cause salvation. They do not make you loved more or saved more. IF God saved you, He already loved you before the foundation of the world.
