The Most Horrifying News

The gospel is not that God has a wonderful plan for your life. It is that God is good, so God is morally perfect and just. God pours out His wrath on unrepentant sinners. That is the horrifying news. The wonderful news is that in the face of that truth, God is merciful and saves to the uttermost those who draw near to God through Christ. Believers should be filled with the desire to live every moment for Christ.
