Rejecting the Love of Your Life

All who follow Christ battle to love Christ more than themselves. This is the nature of being human: We love ourselves and our life. However, Christ calls us to die to ourselves and to follow Him. What does this look like? It looks like joining Him on the path of suffering and living for His glory instead of our own. And....it looks like serving others as Christ has served us.
