Showing Mercy with Cheerfulness

Showing mercy to meet the needs of those in distress is always to be done in cheerfulness. Just as God loves a cheerful giver so we are not to be helpful to others with a grudging or complaining attitude. We need to remember that God looks on the heart and not the outward appearance or action taken.
