Dangers of Lukewarmness

Zephaniah prophesied to men, 'stagnant in spirit.' Some 725 years later a church located in the affluent city of Laodicea, having assimilated the city's culture, declined to an equivalent condition (lukewarmness). Considered in this fourth review of Spurgeon's sermon, 'An Earnest Warning Against Lukewarmness, are the dangers attendant to such a condition. Special attention is given to the danger of a church being 'left to its fallen condition.'
