Promised Blessing, Not Law

How will Paul persuade us that believing is what God really wants? He turns to Israel’s Bible and shows that God has always approached us with the promise of blessing, sonship in fact. Of course law is important, but not to show that we can make it. Focusing on law and meeting its requirements leads to living under God’s curse, a curse that Jesus has now borne in order to secure the blessing for us.
