Restored Worship

Every moment of obedience to God is considered worship. God only accepts what He designs and holiness is His design for His children.
Israel had given themselves to idolatry under King Ahaz and Hezekiah knew they must first allow God to deal with that sin through blood offerings before they could even begin to worship. Even though the priests sanctified themselves, the temple was cleaned and the articles put back into place, no worship could occur until they were first reconciled to God.
It is one thing to be aware of the fact that sin hinders our worship, it is another to acknowledge and deal with the sins.
