Union with Christ

This message was given by Pastor Jonathan Stobbs at the baptism of one of the young people in our fellowship. Pastor Stobbs speaks of the importance of the text in highlighting the necessary spiritual baptism, being immersed into Christ at conversion. That by grace we are placed into Christ, into His death, burial, and resurrection. He speaks of the undeserved intervention of God on behalf of the sinner in the grand plan of salvation, he speaks of the undeserved union that the believer enjoys with Christ through salvation, and the undeserved hope of heaven that the believer is given by the grace of God. As one preacher so rightly said, the Gospel is gloriously simple, and simply glorious!
