Purpose: That you believe the Gospel of the Kingdom & become a servant of the King (28:18-20)

(b) His foreign recognition as the one born King of the Jews (2)
(c) The message of the herald, John the Baptist, 'The Kingdom is at Hand!' (3:2)
(d) The message of the king, 'The Kingdom is at hand!' (4:17,23)

Five Discourses
(a) Sermon on the Mount (5-7): Entering the Kingdom (5:3,10,20;7:13,21)
(b) Apostles' Commission (10): Preaching the Kingdom (10:5)
(c) Kingdom Parables (13): The Coming of the Kingdom
(d) Humility & Forgiveness (18): Greatness in the Kingdom

Death & resurrection of the eternal king & the charge, 'All authority has been given to Me in heave & on earth. Go therefore & make disciples of all the nations' (Mt 28:18-20)

What are you living for? What is your primary desire? Whose kingdom are you laboring to extend? What would it be like if disciples were made of all nations, observing whatsoever he commanded... if his will were done on earth as in heaven? That is God's purpose. This is the only thing that endures. His is the kingdom, power & glory forever.
