1Thessalonians2 PT8 -God's Love Poured Out in our Hearts

This is the beginning of a study of Paul’s first epistle, the epistle to the Church at Thessalonica. This is the first epistle that Paul ever wrote. Thessalonica was a Roman Colony city, right in the heart of the Roman empire, with a rich, long and varied history. Here Paul had brought the Gospel and now is writing to them concerning their lives as believers who are already suffering for their faith in Jesus Christ. In this study we look at how Paul and those with him were gentle with the folks at Thessalonica, as a nursing Mom is with her newborn baby. God’s work transformed this killer of Christians into one as kind and tender as a nursing mom. Here we look at how this transforming love of God is poured out in the heart of the believer at the time of salvation through faith in Christ.
