Faith Alone! (Pt 2)

The resurrection of Jesus Christ occurred in order to take away our offenses and to make us right with God. God's power is demonstrated in His ability to create something out of nothing, to give Isaac to the essentially dead Abraham and Sarah, and to raise up His own Son from the dead. God's power clears away our sin and declares us righteous. How could He do this? He made Jesus Christ, who knew no sin, to be sin for us that we might have the righteousness of God in Him (2 Corinthians 5.21).
