Gracious Retaliation
Series Sermon on the Mount
Jesus instructs His disciples as to what that righteousness is which 'exceeds that of the Pharisees' by giving four illustrations from every-day life. How are we to respond to others when we are: (1) Unkindly Insulted, (2) Unfairly Indicted, (3) Unduly Inconvenienced, and (4) Ungraciously Imposed Upon ? We are to RETALIATE ! Not by returning evil for evil, but by gracious retaliation, overcoming evil with good.
