Hold Firmly To The Gospel
Series Examine Yourself Series
When a person is saved, the gospel is first proclaimed to the person, then the person believes and embraces the gospel. The third phase of our relationship to the gospel is to "stand" in it. Standing refers to our ongoing relationship to the gospel. Our relationship to the gospel faces three threats: the danger of drifting, the danger of gospel distortion, and the danger of counterfeits.
