Degradation of the Disgruntled Believer

Jonah's story ends with a question from God. his story is never finished.

Why was Jonah running from God? He knew that God was gracious and merciful and if the people repented, God would not judge them.

At one point, Jonah was faithful, tenderhearted and loving toward the Lord and others. Jonah was told to deliver a hard message but he goes to Ninevah as a disgusted man. His joy for the gourd was short-lived.

No one wants their story to end being told that he died angry, mad, or bitter. Jonah's unwillingness to follow the Lord impacted and affected all those around him.
