A Three Fold Assurance

The concern is the comforting promise of Isaiah 43:2. Initially considered is the announcement of the relationship the Lord has established with His people (43:1). This relationship produces a resulting assurance (43:2). This assurance has three aspects: 1) assurance of difficulty and danger 2) assurance of the divine presence 3) assurance of deliverance. Isaiah 43:3-7 describes action, relative to nations contemporary to Cyrus' Persia, that strengthen the assurance God gives to His people.
