Soaring Like Eagles: Implications of True Knowledge of God

"They who wait for the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint."

This is a very familiar verse that is preceded by a great explosion from God about his true nature. Only as we experience and know the true God will such a promise have any lasting meaning in our lives.

There is nothing more basic or more important that knowing the God you say you believe. If you do not know who God is, how can you say you know the true God? There are few passages in all of the Bible that tells us more profound things about God than this. It is a gold mine of information and a healing balm to our souls.
