The Silence of God

The greatest fear of all people, and especially of the redeemed, is that God would cease to speak. That He would silence His preachers and strike mute the testimony of His saints. Oh, the awful, deafening silence of the 400 silent years separating Malachi 4:6 and Matthew 1:1. This silence would be a plague of catastrophic dimension and eternal destruction.
