Draw Near, Hold Fast, and Stir One Another
Series The Book of Hebrews
Draw Near, Hold Fast, and Stir One Another.Hebrews 10:22-25; Jude 1:20 KJV The heart of this message is a call to action for the church in these last days. The writer of Hebrews challenges us in three powerful ways: Draw Near to God – With a cleansed heart and bold faith, we are invited into God's very presence through the blood of Jesus. Prayer, worship, and communion with the Lord are no longer distant privileges—they are our daily lifeline. Hold Fast Our Profession – The storms of life, the lure of sin, and the pressures of a hostile world all attempt to loosen our grip on the faith. Yet we are called to hold fast without wavering, trusting the unchanging promises of God. Stir One Another – Faith was never meant to be lived in isolation. We are called to encourage, provoke, and inspire each other toward love and good works, especially as we see "the day approaching." Jude reminds us to build ourselves up in the most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost. This is how we keep our spiritual fire burning and help one another endure until Christ returns.Draw near in intimacy, hold fast with endurance, and stir one another with encouragement. In doing so, we strengthen the church, glorify Christ, and remain ready for His soon appearing.
