The Crucifixion - It is Finished

When Jesus died on the tree, the cross of Calvary, He was fulfilling the promise of God that ​t​he LORD would send Himself to be an offering for sin. God ha​d been alluding to this from the earliest times​. He said it first to Adam when God promised Adam that He (GOD) would crush sin. God alluded to it again in the time of Abraham when ​t​he LORD told Abraham ​that He, Himself, would be the lamb for the offering​ God wanted Abraham to give. God spoke many other times, but in this lesson we look very carefully at the fulfillment of the prophecy given to David​ in Psalm 22 and to Isaiah​ in Isaiah 53 about the final day of the Servant​'s (The Messiah) ​life on earth. Today​, we look​ed at the finish. Jesus when He took His last breath said, it is finished! ​I​n this lesson we look at what was finished.
