A Testimony of Imparted Faith

The word "manifested" in this text means to make clear or obvious to the mind or to the heart. Jesus manifested the Father as no one else could ever do. He now turns from praying for Himself and begins to plead for the disciples and other believers who will come after them. Christ prays for His people, for all of the chosen sinners given to Him by the Father. The feeblest believer is complete in Him and is accepted as completely as was Paul or John. Faith in God is a divine and mighty principle; the most accepted obedience in the world is rendered only in faith. Faith honors God and God honors faith.
