Seemingly "self-righteous" psalms like Psalm 7:8 and Psalm 26

1. There are no "self-righteous" Psalms

• The Psalms themselves teach "there is none righteous, no not one"
• The Psalms preach the doctrine of Justification by Faith Alone

2. Then what are we to make of those seemingly "self-righteous" Psalm?

• Consider the Psalmist's situation and scope at the time
• Consider the Psalms around these and notice the same Psalmist asking for forgiveness
• Consider Jesus Christ
