The Attributes of God: God's Infinity

What do you need when you are overwhelmed by trouble? A sympathetic hug? A pleasurable distraction? A change in circumstances?

I believe that there is nothing more helpful than doctrine, especially the doctrine of God! It is as we know Him and draw near to Him that our souls are quieted and hope is restored. This week we will resume our series on the attributes of God as we begin to consider God's infinity.

He is infinite in reference to time because He is eternal. He is infinite with reference to space because He is omnipresent. He is also infinite in knowledge: omniscient. His knowledge is not only extensive, but He is also perfectly wise: choosing the best possible means to the best possible end. How amazing that such a God regards and even loves us. Let us gather with joy to praise Him.
