Family Responsibilities

This ninth message on the Biblical family zeros in on specific character qualities that are essential for older men, older women, younger women and younger men in each home. Paul wrote Titus to tell him that sound doctrine (healthy teaching) was required to produce mature believers. His teaching included goals for Godly character that would result in Christians fulfilling their responsibilities. As parental discipline drives foolishness from each child, it must be replaced with the peaceful fruit of righteousness (Hebrews 12:11). The purposeful and positive interworking between family members is critical for success in the home, as each believer imitates Jesus Christ in their hearts and in their lives.
