The Completion of His Ministry

To many people the completion of Christ's ministry was His death, burial, and resurrection. But in our text Christ declares His work to be finished in this dynamic prayer. Christ was God so He was not held captive by time as mortals are. The Lord Jesus finished the assigned work of His Father in His ministry, His example, and His spiritual sacrifice for the elect of God.
