3. Reconciliation

5. Forgiveness
6. Sanctification

In preparation for coming to the Lord’s Supper

1. By the Father’s appointment
2. At the hands of sinful, wicked men=
3. By His own free and voluntary will
4. In perfect fulfillment of Scripture
5. As our substitute

Application: 1. Christ’s death upon the cross is our only foundation and hope
2. It is the only way to God
3. The true object of our trust
