God is to be worshipped in the way that he has said; we are not to worship God in the way of false gods. Deuteronomy 12 begins a new section in the preaching of the Covenant looking at how God is worshipped. We see the meaning of the single central Sanctuary, of the Sacrifices, and of the Service God desires.
