Even If He Does Not

Our greatest need is focused not upon a "what" but a "whom." It is the Lord himself that we need. In the quiet confidence that he is with us, we can endure all things for which apart from him we could not. But to place our need in the "what" column, and then grow bitter toward God when that "what" is not met, is nothing short of idolatry.
