This Is the Good Life

Dearly beloved congregation of our Lord Jesus Christ, the passage before us this morning once again sketches the character of the wise son. This is presented in a single summary verse, and then in a number of different character facets. Once again, the upshot is clear: Wisdom teaches us to shun evil by showing us the rewards of doing so.
