Our Hope Set on the Living God

Theme: Our hope is fixed on the living God, who is the Savior of all people, especially of those who believe.

1. Our lives will manifest our hope as we serve him. v.6
2. Training for godliness finds its value in the hope that we have in Christ Jesus. vv.7-8
   3 Christ Jesus is the Savior of all people who have hope in him, believing in faith. vv. 9-10

CLOSE: How is it that our hope is so certain and fixed in God? Because of Christ and his redemption. If you are in Christ, joined with him in his spirit and his righteousness, then you are in God’s hand now and your eternal end is safe in Him. I Cor 3:21-23 21 So let no one boast in men. For all things are yours, 22. whether Paul or Apollos or Cephas or the world or life or death or the present or the future—all are yours, 23. and you are Christ’s, and Christ is God’s.
