Jesus' High-Priestly Prayer - Petitions for All of His Disciples

Jesus' concern and petitions in His high-priestly prayer expanded outward from Himself to His apostles to all who were going to believe in Him. That third and final emphasis brought His prayer to its climax and notably focused on the issue of unity among His disciples. This unity would be critical to their witness to Him and His gospel because, without it, there would be no evidence for the truths they were going to bring to the world.
