New Covenant Church: Importance of Christ's Church

The description of the birth of the New Covenant Church in Acts 2 gives us an opportunity to look at the Scriptures to see the central importance of the church in Christ's purposes on earth.

This sermon, then, looks to Matthew 16 and Matthew 18--the only two places in the Gospels to use the word "church"--to see what Christ says about His church--the church He loves, died for, and promises to build. In Matthew 16:18-19 we see the Priority of Christ's Church, the Building of Christ's Church, the Conflict of Christ's Church, and the Prevailing of Christ's Church.
