The Authority and Sufficiency of God's Word

Rev. Mahon establishes from the Word of God the authority of God's Word over every area of our life based on it's divinely embewed qualities and as that sole agent of revelation for the church age as decreed by God. “God's Word is not God's Word because we believe it to be so, rather, we believe it to be so becauses it is God's Word.” The application of this authority is to spend time with God in His Word. “If your wife were to tell you before you went to bed that Jesus had called and he would be sitting at the breakfast table for about 30 minutes to talk with you, would you set your alarm 30 minutes early? Yet how many of us fail to set our alarm early morning after morning as God's Word lies unopen on our book shelf?”
