Faithful Instruction

This fourth message on the Biblical family describes two critical parts to families who are blessed by God: God's LAW, which gives understanding as we obey His instructions - listening and being careful to do all that He says; and our LOVE, which knows and is attached to God Himself - with all one's heart, soul and might. This passage in Deuteronomy was written to Israel, but is profitable for doctrine and training in righteousness for us. LAW involves God's commandments, statutes and judgments, which control our lives and are faithfully taught to our children and grandchildren. LOVE involves our spiritual, emotional and physical commitment, which controls our hearts and is consistently making God the center of all that we think and do.
