The Glove of God
Series Westminster Shorter Catechism
WSC #11: What are God's works of providence? God's works of providence are, his most holy, wise, and powerful preserving, and governing all His creatures, and all their actions.
Aim: To see and believe in the love of God, despite our circumstances.
Doctrine: Seeing is believing for those foreknown by God, and called according to His purposes.
Exposition: The glove on God's invisible hand is in the storms of life (Jon 1); times of isolation (Jon 2); the preached word of God (Jon 3); and all our suffering (Jon 4).
Application: Believing is seeing a will to embrace your circumstances, a mind to overcome the world, and a heart to serve.
