The Priesthood of Believers

Today Jesus Christ is seated in heaven at the right hand of God where He is continually, constantly, and permanently serving as the High Priest for all believers. Believers who serve as priests to God and having personal and immediate access to God Himself in the throne room by means of the object of their faith for which reason the term believer is applied. The only object of saving faith is Jesus Christ who as the ultimate and final High Priest offered Himself as the perfect sacrifice for all sin for all people for all time. As believer priests who now have access to God the sacrifice offered to God by each is them self, meaning the whole of life. In every area of life believers are to be living and conducting them self to be pleasing to God and serving to honor Him. This life includes offering to God praise and thanksgiving, doing good works appointed by God, and sharing with others.
